No child labor in balloon industry
In some countries where balloons are manufactured, there is unfortunately child labor, but WISA Enschede BV does not accept child labor by the manufactory of balloons.
WISA Enschede BV is actively working to prevent child labor. Thus regular unannounced visits by the manageent made the balloon manufacturers not only to control the production and products but also on child labor and working conditions. Companies that do not follow the principle of "no child labor", shall be ruled by WISA Enschede BV, and requires its partners to follow this philosophy. Any form of child exploitation is prohibited.
We base our actions on the Declaration on the Rights of the Child by the United Nations (1989), which defines the basic principle which states that the interests of the child must always come first. The Convention 138 of the International Labour Organisation (ILO - International Labour Organisation) in 1973 on the minimum working age, and the ILO Convention 182 of 1999 on the worst forms of child labor, by WISA Enschede BV and their balloon respected producers.
